Everyone has days when they are depressed, exhausted, and just don’t feel so happy.

Okay, you must have days like this, otherwise how do you know when you are happy.

You must have something to counter your happiness. What is black without white ?.

Even though you know sadness is a part of life, let’s try to make it a small part of life.

With that said, here are some tips to help you feel better when you’re feeling down in the dump. They’re easy to make, easy to practice every day, and they work!

  • Get up, sit up straight. When your body is aligned, your energy can flow, and when your energy flows freely, you can flow.
  • You smile! Yes, smile. Easy to do and efficient.

Repeat the positive affirmations. Things like “I feel good”, “Positive energy is flowing through my body”, “I see the good in everything”.

  • Listen to the music you love. It doesn’t have to be something specific, just something you like. Some types of music work better than others, but experiment and see what works for you, Studies have shown that classical and New Age music work the best.
  • Take time for yourself, relax and read a book, do something for yourself.
  • Meditate, Meditation is a great habit to develop, You will need it in everything you do, If you have trouble staying still, try special meditation CDs that put your brain in a meditative state, Just search for “Music Meditation” on Google or Yahoo and explore.

Our outer work is simply a reflection of our inner world. Remember that there is no reality, just your perception of it. Use this truth to your advantage.

Whenever you are sad, Realize that it’s all in your mind and that you have the power to change your perception.

These tips will cheer you up when you’re depressed, but don’t just use them when you’re sad.

Try to practice them every day, make it a habit.
